Yomitan (Okinawa Explorer 1st Edition)
Yamauchi Shohgen (pg. 119), which was a popular soba restaurant for many years, has been demolished. Whether or not it will reappear, is not known. Big Bay Kayaking Tours (pg. 117), which was next door to Yamauchi Shohgen has also disappeared. Beach Rock House 69 (pg. 119) has moved out of Yomitan, so if you are planning to stay there, adjust your itinerary.

Okinawa City (1st Edition)
A few places along and near Gate 2 Street have either been demolished or moved to a new location. “Hideaway,” “Shooters,” and “Take 1″ have all been demolished to make room for Okinawa City’s new “Music Village” plan. Mod’s Live House has moved to Chatan and is located in Mihama Village.
